Welcome to The Winterberg Law Firm, P.C.

We understand that there is a lot at stake when it comes to your immigration and citizenship status.

That’s why we personalize each and every case to ensure you receive a fair ruling. As specialists in immigration law, we go above and beyond for each and every single one of our clients.

Overview of Our Law Services

Our adjustment of status defense is utilized to prevent deportation or, alternatively, if you are not facing deportation, to allow to gain status as a lawful permanent resident. This is the process that you can apply for in order to gain lawful permanent residence status (Green Card) when you are present in the United States.

If you believe that your immigration case was mishandled, an immigration lawyer can help you file an appeal to be sent to a higher jurisdiction. By taking a case to a higher court, legal authorities are to review the lower court’s decision. We familiarize ourselves with the immigration judges to increase the chances of winning your case.

If living in your country of origin poses a threat or danger to you and your family, then we can help you find asylum within the United States. Asylum can be granted to those who have been persecuted and have a well-founded fear to return to their country due to persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, or membership within a particular social group.

Our law firm can help you fulfill the requirements established by Congress in the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) in order to become a United States citizen. The process is known to be tedious and challenging at times; an immigration lawyer can help smooth out the process.

The hardest part of facing deportation and removal proceedings is having parts of your family as United States citizens while others are undocumented. Depending on your relationship with the United States citizen, immigration, and criminal history of the noncitizen, we can help you to become a lawful permanent resident.

In the instance when clients have been deported in the past, they falsely assume there is absolutely nothing that can ever be done for them to stay in the United States with their family. Before you completely lose hope, let us take a look at your case to see if there is something that went wrong that prejudiced your case that caused you to be removed.

We offer removal defense services for people who are in deportation proceedings. Unfortunately, the moment immigration officials find out you are in the United States, they will start the process of deportation. It may feel as if you’re being pushed up against a wall but we’re here to let you know that you have options and rights!

Attending court and being in front of an immigration judge can be intimidating and daunting for clients and their families; having an immigration lawyer by your side can ease the stress and uncertainty. Whether you or a loved one is in removal proceedings or detained in jail, we can help navigate these deep waters with you.

A visa is key to traveling to a port of entry, airport, or land border crossing within the United States. It also levers an endorsement to stay within the country for a specified amount of time. If you require legal assistance, we can help.

A will is often the cornerstone of a comprehensive estate plan. No matter how complicated your estate is, and what other estate planning tools are needed, a will can help tie together all of the pieces of your estate plan. This can help ensure your wishes are recognized and you provide for your loved ones.
